COURSES FOR EMPLOYERS

If you are an employer who has migrant staff, you can contact us to train staff on…

Communication skills

Often, employers who have been through the journey and are now well embedded into the New Zealand way of life find it hard to train staff on the importance of communicating well with customers, other staff and the wider community.

It is extremely important for your business to grow, and we want to help you.

As a small business owner, we understand the challenges you face with migrant workers who have moved to New Zealand recently.

Cultural sensitivity

In a multicultural environment, it is non-negotiable to respect history, culture, values.

Depending on the learnings from home country, migrants may struggle to adapt. They could find themselves in difficult situations. This impacts not only the employee and their family but also creates problems for others around them.

As a business owner who has spent their time and energy into having a migrant worker from overseas, it is important that your staff understands culture, value and ethics better.

You can choose a one-time session or ongoing (once a month or quarterly) and nominate your current and future employees.

All our training can be conducted online and are one-hour sessions after work. Our sessions are 1:1 personal sessions.

As an employer, you are welcome to join or book a session for the group depending on their comfort levels.

Training can be customised as per your workplace requirements. Please talk to us so we can provide you customized training. Our training sessions include the following topics:

  1. NZ History, Culture and lifestyle
  2. Communication at work
  3. Being a person of good character – Immigration compliance
  4. Understanding the conditions of your visa – Immigration compliance

Duration: 1 hour
